We are pleased to announce Wood Line, the new product line dedicated to the care and protection of all wooden boat surfaces.

We propose a revisitation of the Veneziani Yachting Wood Line, improved and integrated both technically and aesthetically with new products, divided into four different categories: paints, impregnants, resins and teak care products. The range consists of 19 products: 14 solvent-based and 5 water-based.

Wood Line offers a wide variety of paints, single and two-component, also water-based, and a solvent-free epoxy resin: a technologically advanced system with excellent penetration, flexibility and adhesion properties. The teak care products are specially designed to clean and protect in depth, without being invasive on precious woods, while the new impregnating agents, also available in both bases, are characterised by excellent penetration into the wood and are ideal for highlighting its natural veins.

All new solutions proposed by Veneziani Yachting that do not have a corresponding one in the previous Wood Line will be available immediately to all retailers, while the products already included but upgraded in the new Wood Line will be distributed exclusively for the first three months, to retailers who have joined the Veneziani Program.

The design of the water-based products of the new Wood Line is intended to underline the sustainable path undertaken by Gruppo Boero, aimed at preserving the central role of the marine ecosystem and promoting an inspiring model in harmony with the equilibrium of the planet.

We are honored to announce that GEMMA GONZALEZ FERRER has been appointed as new Director of Gruppo Boero's Yachting Business Unit. In her current role, she brings with her a deep knowledge of the nautical sector which she will use in supporting the international development of the two Yachting brands of Gruppo Boero. Gemma Gonzalez Ferrer experience and deep passion will allow the Group to make an additional step forward in the path of consolidation and accreditation in the nautical sector, reinforcing the positioning achieved as a leader.

On October 1st, the curtain rose on Expo 2020 Dubai, the universal exhibition that  will see how 200 countries present the best of their ideas until March 31st, inspired by the main theme of the event "Connecting minds, generating the future".

Gruppo Boero, as Premium Partner of the Italian Pavilion, took up the challenge and put all its expertise into play in order to better interpret this topic.

Thanks to its know-how and competence demonstrated, the cutting-edge products signed by the group have covered the Italian Pavilion. The company painted over 13,000 square meters of surface: for the external part, the inverted hull structure of the pavilion's roof make up the largest flag in the history of Italy (2100mq) and was painted with high-tech products from the nautical sector. The 165 columns supporting the structure were painted with the same products as well.

Some interior areas, on the other hand, have been decorated with the experimental use of "new materials", painting solutions that use spirulina-based raw materials. The microalgae gives surprising colors, thus offering an alternative with a lower environmental impact than traditional raw materials.

But this year's Expo represents so much more. It is proof that the company, with its 190-year history, considers sustainable innovation one of its fundamental assets to continue growing.
On this occasion, Gruppo Boero will show the world the excellence of the "Made in Italy", capable of creating beauty through color.

We continue to inform you about the current project "Green Keel Pack", born from the constant research of the Gruppo Boero in order to obtain a lower environmental impact, in collaboration with the KeelCrab submarine drone company.

Most of the boats selected to test this 'green' initiative have already been painted with Eco Hull Paint, our biocide-free hull paint that acts as an antifouling. For these boats, in fact, we have already started to carry out the cleaning process of the hull with the KeelCrab drone.

Having sustainability as a primary value and a commitment to reducing its environmental impact have led Gruppo Boero to look for new projects, innovative and respectful of the sea. For this reason, the Group together with Keelcrab, a brand of submarine drones produced by the company Aeffe Srl., have developed the Green Keel Pack: the pilot project that can revolutionize the cleaning and maintenance of boats.

Born from a constant search for an antifouling with low environmental impact on the sea, Green Keel Pack is a project that combines the cleaning technology of the KeelCrab drone with our experience in the development of top quality antifouling. In this case it is a product with zero biocide content: our Eco Hull Paint.

The pilot pack will be provided for free to the first 25 owners who will apply to the project. Once the antifouling has been applied, a specialized operator will perform a cleaning cycle every two months with the underwater drone, without the need to move the boat and ensuring that the paint and hull are kept in an optimal state.
